Moonrakers adheres to the rules set out by the Federation of Artistic Roller Skating. You can access the rules here: http://www.fars.co.uk/
Moonrakers has a child protection policy that has been adopted from FARS. Our trainers have been CRB checked and hold a FARS trainers card. We require any volunteers to provide CRB disclosure records. Roushka Munt is our welfare officer, responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of our young and vulnerable members.
We ask all our skaters to obey a few basic ground rules to ensure everyone has a safe & fun environment to learn in:
- Listen to the club coaches & do your best to do what they ask
- Allow others skating space -no intentional contact
- Skaters are not to eat or drink on the skating floor
- If you don't have skates on, you shouldn't be on the skating floor- if you need to cross, wait to be told it's safe
- Keep your belongings off of the skating floor & somewhere safe
- Remember it's supposed to be fun! For you, and for others.
